Ancestry Networking

I’m still researching the next Graham ancestor to profile here, but I had an idea that I wanted to share.

This journal has put me into contact with a couple of cousins across the United States, and as I was writing to one today the thought struck me that it is somewhat inefficient on our parts to share information via e-mail when there are tools available online to streamline this process.  I could create a family tree on Ancestry.com based on the entries in this journal, then invite my cousins to add to it at their own leisure.  That way, we’re all adding directly to our shared family history, cutting down on typing, re-typing, copying and pasting.  And I’m sure that’s what Ancestry.com had in mind!

That’s what I’m going to do, then.

After the holidays.
