Obituary for Anna Corinne Russell

Originally published in The Commercial Appeal of Memphis, Tennessee on 3 December 2013.

Anna Corrine Graham

Anna Corrine GrahamAnna Corrine Graham[1], 81, passed away December 1, 2013 at her home in Kriby[2] Pines Retirement Community.

Corrine grew up in Brownsville , TX in her earlier years prior to attending Harding University in Searcy AR[3], were [sic] she received her degree in education. She taught elementary school in and around Searcy for 18 years. Mrs. Graham was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and fondly remembers the four years she lived in Copenhagen, Denmark. Corrine and her husband, J.R. have been members at Sycamore View Church of Christ since 1989.

She was preceded in death by her son, Royce Eubanks[4], and grandson, Terry Lynn Fuller, Jr.

Mrs. Graham leaves her husband of 29 years, J.R. Graham[5]; daughter, Elizabeth Fuller (Terry); grandchildren, Christy Procell, Jeremy Fuller, Nicole Fuller and Robert Fuller.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 5, from 10:30 until service time at 11:30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow on Friday in Center Grove Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, TX.

Notes

[1] Per her birth certificate, her middle name was spelled with one R and two Ns – Corinne. She apparently maintained that spelling, for her name was recorded that way on the birth certificates for her son Royce and daughter Elizabeth, and in other records. Thus, the spelling in this obituary (and her Find A Grave memorial) is likely incorrect.

[2] Actually, Kirby Pines. Another typo from the original obituary.

[3] Harding University is located in White County in the city of Searcy, Arkansas, not to be confused with Searcy County, Arkansas.

[4] Royce’s father was Corinne’s first husband, Robert Eugene Eubanks.

[5] Julius R. Graham, a son of John Jasper Graham and Danner Copeland. Corinne was Julius’ second wife, and he was her second husband.
